Ebay Rules and Policy, Read it right!

Our rules and policies help keep our website a safer place for all members. As a seller, you're responsible for reviewing and understanding eBay's rules and policies, as well as all applicable laws and regulations as outlined in the eBay User Agreement and in the rules for sellers overview.

Before selling an item on eBay, you should review our:

      Prohibited and restricted items – overview

      Find out what items can and can't be listed on eBay. Our rules about items that are not allowed or are only allowed under certain conditions are often based on country and state laws, including copyright or trademark laws. In some cases, we don't allow selling certain items because of health or safety reasons, or if they're controversial or sensitive in nature but aren't necessarily against the law. We may also prohibit certain items based on input from our members, government agencies, and the community.

      Rules for listings

      Learn more about the kinds of information you can and can't include in a listing and how you should describe the items you're selling. Our policies cover things like the use of profanity, keyword spamming, and HTML and JavaScript, as well as trying to avoid eBay fees.

      Seller performance standards

      Find out about the minimum performance standards that are required to sell on eBay. Of course, sellers are expected to provide great service for their buyers. On eBay, your performance is measured in terms of detailed seller ratings (DSRs), and the number of low DSRs you have can't exceed a certain percentage of your total transactions for a specified time period.

      Selling practices policy

      Find out more about how you can earn high ratings and keep your buyers satisfied. You're expected to provide great customer service throughout a transaction, as well as clear, accurate, and consistent details about the items you're selling.

Make sure you follow our rules and policies. If you don't, you may be subject to a range of actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.
